Email the City Planning Department
Every email matters, but everyone should tell their specific input and story, because a hundred emails that say the same thing are less effective compared to personal stories. Here's how . . .
1) if you lived here during the evacuations, then share your experience and concerns.
2) if you or close family lost a home in a major fire, then share your experience
3) if you have knowledge about the key safety issues, then discuss your concerns about one or more of the safety issues such 5 stories, bottlenecking a major intersection, etc (see the Project Page)

If you are an engineer, traffic specialist, fire or emergency response, legal experts, or related subject matter expert, we need your help!!

We Need Everyone
The Planning Commission is scheduled to Review and potentially Approve the project at the Oct 5th Hearing. San Marcos Main Council Chambers. Starts at 6:30 pm
The more people that can speak, the better. But let's coordinate our voices so we cover all the critical points. Saying the same thing has less impact. We need people to speak on key safety issues and also about personal evacuation and concerns. Each person gets 3 minutes at the hearing. There is a category for everyone, so please help us.
